Roses and Iris~and a Flea Market Garden~

Doesn't it make you happy when Spring rolls around..?  Having a cottage garden you know when Spring is here.  The roses start blooming like crazy and the Iris pop up everywhere.  Probably my most FAV time of the year!  Still cool enough, that you can enjoy all the blooms...  before Summer comes.  My garden is best viewed and enjoyed in the months of April, May and June....the Summer months are still pretty but the Spring months are breathtaking!  I love decorating the garden with antique and vintage garden pieces. I love flea market gardening...I'm at a flea every week, sometimes 2 times a week..and right now I'm crazy about French wire garden pieces and Victorian Plant Stands~Here is a recent Flea Market find~PS you can click to enlarge any photo!

Yes this was a keeper!  I just happened to be one of the first ones at the market and just about died when I saw it.  As I was asking the price another woman was pointing at it and I knew I had to scoop it up!
Here is another flea market find...going back about 5 years...I found this beauty..a green 3 tier crowned plant stand.  The watering can is from Germany...I collect those too...:)
I love decorating the garden with TRUE antique garden pieces.  Here is another Victorian Bench I picked up at a flea market in Oregon, while I was at a horse show...luckily there was room in the trailer for it to come home!
I titled this post Roses and Iris...I guess I should show you some!!

Roses and Pride of Madera...I just started some white Iceberg roses on the arbor...still haven't bloomed yet..can't wait!!
Another Pride of Madera (varigated) just starting to bloom. I love their blue color.  In the background another flea market find an old rusty garden arbor bench with dove bird statuary.  I try to match the Adirondack chairs to the colors in the garden...on a future post I will show you my PINK Adirondack chairs!

I hope you enjoyed the garden tour today!  I'm linking up with on of my favorite linky parties at Fishtail Cottage...Thank you Tracie for hosting such a fun party!  So hop on over to Tracie's and see all the other garden party animals HERE
