INDUSTRIAL goes to Santa Monica

With the weather going to be in the triple digits this weekend....I thought I would invite you to one of my FAVORITE flea markets.   The Santa Monica Airport Flea Market! Having  been a buyer here for many years, I have always enjoyed the COOL beach weather and the friendly sellers.  One of my favorite things about this market is they allow your friendly dog!  Those of you that know me......know that my dogs "girls" go everywhere with me.   This Sunday September 26th I will be a seller!  This will be my second time selling here.  Come by and see us,  our "theme" for this show is INDUSTRIAL!  We are bringing an entire booth of industrial, so if you are looking for that special piece for your loft, studio, garage or home...I'm sure you will find something.  We will have some great lockers, stainless steel tables, metal cabinets, antique Snap-On tool box ,laundry carts, bakers racks, rolling file drawers, file cabinets, and my son Dustin's beautiful tables.   Lots of METAL and STEEL!!  The trailer is loaded, so come by and see us in Santa Monica.  Have a wonderful weekend everyone!

The " INDUSTRIAL" side of Chateau et Jardin

My son, and business partner Dustin,  has started building these beautiful "industrial" tables.  We debuted them at the Rose Bowl last month with great reception!  These tables are all made from recycled materials, with no paint and a natural patina.  The wood, made from surplus Navy Planks, and the metal are sealed. These tables are heavy, durable and the metal is all welded - they will last many lifetimes.   Each table is custom made and different.  Dustin along with my husband Charley and my other son Derek can pretty much build anything out of our home fabrication shop.  Tables, chairs, bookcases, you name it, they can build it!
We will be at the Santa Monica Airport Flea Market this coming Sunday September 26th. Come by and see our "INDUSTRIAL" side.!

I'm always on the HUNT for AntiqueFrench Iron Chairs and Cast Iron Urns.....

One of my favorite things to find are French Iron Chairs and Cast Iron Urns!  You know the kind that you find at the Paris Bistros...I found these rusty iron chairs in Venice, CA.  I love the details on these chairs.  They are rusty PERFECT!!  Cast Iron Urns are becoming so hard to find,  so when I do...I plant them and decorate with them!  I have these two urns for sale at the Rose Bowl this Sept. 12th.

My son Dustin does the set up prior to each show or photo shoot...I think he does a pretty good job at "styling" don't you??

The cast iron garden urns, french iron chairs, vintage pillows, architectural post, iron plinth, french iron table  and statuary are all going to the Rose Bowl!!  Let us know if you are interested in any of these pieces!

Coming... to the next Rose Bowl Flea Market...

Wow!   This is one of those pieces that I would love to keep!  It's my "FAV" color!  Fits in perfect with the garden.  I love that this bench has such beautiful details, scalloped arm rests, scalloped table, adirondack backs, and vintage wood!  Oh and check out the tall antique urn just to the left of the bench! I love decorating with antique cement urns, both outside in the garden and inside my home.  Just two of the pieces that will be available at the Rose Bowl September 12, 2010. Be sure to stop by and check it out!  Don't forget to click on the picture to get a great view!
